pH Electrode Cleaning Solution General Use for pH Meters (250 mL)
pH Electrode Cleaning Solution General Use for pH Meters (250 mL)
Attention :
This solution is suitable for general cleaning such as dirty from waste water dirt water and fertilizer water.
But it is not suitable for cleaning cloggy cause by measurement of protein fat and oil substances.
Instructions for use :
- Rinse probes with tap water or purified (deionized) water.
- Pour out the solution(50 mL) into a small and clean beaker and submerge pH probe in the solution.
- Wait for 1 hour and rinse probes with tap water or purified (deionized) water again.
(If it is an old electrode service life more than 1 year you might soak it about 1 day.)
- Next you can perform calibration of pH meter.
(It is recommended to soak the electrode in storage solution for 1 - 2 hours before calibration to rehydrate the electrode after a cleaning procedure.)
- Store solution at room temperature with closed cap.
- The shelf life of the solution is 2 year.
- For laboratory and industrial use only.
**Caution : Do not let the solution splash into your eyes. If it spill on your skin wash it by running water.**
Note :
- The pH meter should be calibrated at least once a month or may be once a week. Depending on how heavy you use pH meter. If the meter was kept for several months it is recommended to calibrate the meter first before using it. Because the pH probe will gradually deterioration over time this cause the measurement to be deviated.
- When storing pH or ORP meter user should always keep the probe immersed in the Storage solution (KCl 3.3M) to prolong the service life.
*If the probe is stored in tap water distilled water deionized water RO water the probe will quickly deteriorated when left immersion.*
